Career Opportunities
Because Marathon Infants & Toddlers provides one or more services to more than 2,000 children a year, we are continually
searching for well-qualified, dedicated and compassionate interventionists, evaluators and service coordinators. We offer
challenging opportunities, a supportive and responsive organization, a friendly atmosphere and competitive fees.
Our interventionists and evaluators hold one or more of the following licenses and certificates:
|
- Speech/Language Pathology
- Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped
- Physical Therapist
- Occupational Therapist
- Social Worker
- Special Education Teacher
- Psychologist
|
They must hold current New York State licenses or certificates and must be approved by the New York State Department of
Health/Early Intervention Program to practice as independent contractors in the State.
Service Coordinators must meet requirements established by the Bureau of Early Intervention of the New York City Department
of Health and Mental Hygiene. Service Coordinators serve as full time employees of Marathon.
To meet the needs of the City’s multilingual population, we especially encourage those with fluency in languages other than
English to join us.
