What is the Marathon Infants & Toddlers Early Intervention Home Based Program The program is approved by the New York State Department of Health and the New York City Early Intervention Program. Marathon Infants & Toddlers assesses the needs of infants and toddlers under three years of age with suspected delays, or those thought to be at risk of developing delays.Infants and toddlers are referred to our program by parents, case workers, pediatricians, educational and health professionals. |

Expert teachers, speech pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, social workers, and psychologists will conduct
the evaluation in the child's home according to the parent's desire in English and Spanish. The results of the evaluations will be thoroughly discussed with the parents or
guardians. |

Admission Procedures Admission to Marathon Infants & Toddlers Ealry Intervention Program is based on the results of full evaluations of a child and conferences with the parents and representatives of the New York City Early Intervention Program. Evaluations and treatment are provided with no out-of-pocket cost to the families. Evaluations and treatment are conducted in the home, daycare or nursery school at the convenience of the parents or their caregivers. We follow HIPPA health compliance requirements. All information is maintained in strict confidence. |

What are the Qualifications of the Evaluators and Interventionists? All therapists, social workers, and teachers are state certified or licensed. Their credentials have been closely examined by the Executive Director, The State Education Department, the New York State Department of Health, and the New York City Early Intervention Program. Admission to Marathon Infants & Toddlers Early Intervention Program is based on the results of full evaluations of a child and conferences with parents and representatives of the New York City Early Intervention Program. |
